This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User,” “You,” or “Client”) and Carbon Salon Business Dashboard (“Application,” “We,” “Our,” or “Developer”). By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
1. License Grant
Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Carbon Salon Business Dashboard solely for your internal business analytics and reporting purposes.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
- Rent, sell, sublicense, or distribute the Application to third parties;
- Interfere with security features, servers, or data integrity;
- Misuse QuickBooks Online data or violate Intuit API terms;
- Attempt to access data from QuickBooks accounts you are not authorized to access.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application integrates with QuickBooks Online via Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 system.
By connecting QuickBooks:
- You authorize the Application to access your QuickBooks realm ID and Profit & Loss report data.
- You acknowledge that your use of QuickBooks Online remains governed by Intuit’s Terms of Service and Developer Policy.
Developer is not affiliated with Intuit Inc.
4. Data Access and Storage
The Application accesses the following categories of QuickBooks data:
- Realm ID
- Profit & Loss report data including summary totals
The Application stores:
- Summarized financial values such as income, expenses, and net income for reporting purposes.
The Application does not store full financial transaction lists, customers, invoices, vendors, ledger entries, or any personally identifiable financial records.
OAuth access tokens are stored securely and used only to facilitate authorized API requests.
5. Data Accuracy and Limitations
The Application provides analytics and summaries based on QuickBooks data.
Developer does not guarantee:
- Accuracy of QuickBooks data,
- Availability of QuickBooks API,
- Completeness of reports,
- Suitability for tax, legal, or financial reporting.
The Application is not intended to replace official accounting software or professional financial consultation.
6. Termination
Developer may terminate or suspend your access immediately if:
- You violate this Agreement,
- Your QuickBooks authorization expires or is revoked,
- Required API credentials become invalid or restricted.
Upon termination, all rights under this Agreement cease.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
Developer is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data,
- Business interruption,
- Inaccurate reporting due to QuickBooks API limitations,
- Security incidents resulting from user misconfiguration.
Developer’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Application, if any.
9. Updates
Developer may modify or update the Application at any time, including changes necessary to comply with Intuit API requirements or system migrations.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state or jurisdiction where the Developer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
